At the center of the action is a group of cadets who are trained to fight rebels on colonized planets. One of the cadets, Thomas Lasky, feels hesitant. This hero of the film “Halo 4: Going to Dawn” does not like the thought of war, in addition, he fears not to justify the hopes placed on him by the command.
As he struggles with himself, an unknown alien race invades the planet. Thomas and his comrades are rescued by the team of John-117, one of the legendary Spartans of the second generation. Martian fighting machines began making their way across Western Europe and the countries of Europe combined forces to resist them. With aspects taken from ‘The War of the Worlds’ by H.G. Wells and from WWI itself, this dramatisation presents a documentary style look at events as they unfolded and the effect they had of our world today.
