A very confused film that you have to read about on Wikipedia after watching to understand what you saw, but its ending has a bottomless impressive power - the last real man waited for time to turn back to defeat entropy, resurrect lives, restore love and fix everything forever. It is saddening, however, that the film is built on deliberately pseudoscientific theories, and most viewers are not able to recognize this and will calmly take it at face value. There are logical oddities: If time goes backwards, why would the hero have to live to this point? He could have died and then resurrected. In the variant of events, where the hero was not born, he watches a message from himself on TV. What if he wasn't born? What is the practical meaning of transferring knowledge to the unborn? Such moments very clearly indicate that overly pretentious and his philosophy has the prefix "pseudo", so that everything is of interest mainly in disputes between perverted aesthetes who know many ornate terms and surnames.
