Born in Silver Creek, New York. The Black Deep Thou Wingest (1953) in the journal Startling Stories. Known mainly for short stories and short stories (rays of them were included in the collections The Worlds of Robert F. Young (1965) and A Glass of Stars (1968)), although Young wrote several novels. The first of them - "La Quete de la Sainte Grille" (1975) - was published only in French (it is written on the basis of the short story "The Quest of the Holy Grille" (1964). Young's other books are
