Robert Stack was born on January 13, 1919 in the United States. He received his education at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, at the Henry Duffy Theatre School. Robert Stack has been acting in films since 1939, reaching the peak of his career in the 50s, thanks to the films Written on the Wind (1956) and Fallen Angels (1958). Stack is best known for his role as Eliot Ness in the television series The Untouchables (1959–63).
