Geliy Trofimovich Ryabov was born on February 1, 1932, in a working-peasant family. In 1993, according to his own script, Geliy Ryabov staged a historical drama "The White Horse". In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he was one of those who reopened the investigation into the 1918 shooting of the last emperor’s family from the Romanov family and the search for her burial.
