Initially, nothing foreshadowed the fact that an ordinary Leningrad boy, Andrei Fedortsov, who was born on August 13, 1968 and studied at a very ordinary school, would gain “star” fame. Andrey prepared himself for sea service: he graduated from the Leningrad Nautical School, worked in the Department of the North-Western River Shipping Company as a sailor-motorist of foreign navigation vessels and repeatedly went to Valaam and North Karelia as a steering ship OM-372.
Andrey did not hide from the army and finished his service as a senior sergeant, commander of a mine-detonation platoon, and it was at this time that he came up with the idea of an acting career: he had to replace one of the amateur artists in the play of a military unit.
But it is one thing to think, another to decide in action. After the army, Fedortsov became interested in completely different occupations: he was an advertising administrator in the Leningrad rock club, a maintenance worker for the building, did not neglect even the position of stage machinist in the Leningrad State Small Drama Theater. At the end of the eighties, surprising all loved ones, Andrey went to farm courses on the advanced Italian method. With oranges and grapes, probably something pumped up, and then Andrey Fedortsov went to the publishers of the poetic magazine “Mansarda”. And only then, after all the changes, difficulties and trials, he finally entered the Cherkasov Academy of Theatre, Music and Cinematography, which he graduated from at the turn of his thirtieth birthday.
As an actor, Andrei began with the Academic Comedy Theater named after N.P. Akimov, where he played in children's plays ("The Alchemist" and "The Wizard of the Emerald City"). Were Fedortsov and filming, but episodic and some inconclusive. For the hundredth time, having changed his profession, Andrey tuned in to a commercial way - he began to trade in his own company goods for pets. But then the director Alexei Balabanov called Fedortsov to shoot in
film "Brother" , and a small role of the hostage-sound director of the radio, Stepan, gave Andrei Fedortsov the "Prize of Audience Sympathies". Here fate and threw the actor-entrepreneur a real chance - the role of the cop Vasya Rogov in "Slaughtering power".
Then everything went very well, and in the arsenal of Fedortsov there were really interesting roles. He played an escaped criminal in the film "Jeager", a young director Alexander Tsatsuev, one of the two black trackers in the film "Medusa", and since then the filmography of the artist is regularly replenished with new images in films.
Fedortsov is happy in his personal life. He has a son whom he cherishes, despite his divorce from his mother, and a beautiful friend with whom he lives without any conventions, but with great love. /
