The professional career of Canadian actress Rachelle Lefèvre (Rachelle Marie Lefèvre) began on television in 1997 - with the project "Hunger". But this was only an episode, and a full-fledged launch pad for Rachel was the project of George Clooney “Confessions of a dangerous man” (2002).
Rachelle was born and raised in the Canadian province of Quebec, in Montreal, the largest French-speaking city outside Dumas' homeland. It is no wonder that since childhood Rachel speaks fluent French, and English was a second language in the family (the father of the actress is a linguist teacher).
In her youth, Rachel studied at Dawson College, where she studied artistic creativity. At the Natik School (Massachusetts), Lefebvre played in the theater for two years. The girl’s education was supplemented by McGill University, where she attended lectures on literature and education. But despite her talent and knowledge, Rachel was not immediately able to realize herself: she worked as a waitress in a sushi restaurant in Montreal until an incident intervened. One of the visitors who learned her story helped Lefebvre get an audition for the sitcom. So she finally got a role in the Canadian TV series Tommy the Werewolf (1999).
Then there was a role in the Clooney project, and in 2004, Rachelle left her forest province for California - for Hollywood. Noticing the young actress, Chazz Palminteri invited Rachel to the film “Noel”.
The beauty and talent of Lefebvre found “shelter” in television series: in the collection of the actress – “From 16 and older”, “Charmed”, “Veronica Mars” and others.
In 2008, Rachel received an offer to play a female vampire, Victoria.
Twilight saga And the sequel to "Twilight." Saga, New Moon. It is known that for this role, the actress studied the habits of wild lions, watching videos on YouTube to behave like a real predator. She succeeded in this: a ruthless hunter sees through Victoria even when she appears at the school ball in an evening dress. /
