At one of the rehearsals, the girl met a colleague – Jean-Pierre Bakri, for a while they dated, and then decided to get married. Further on the productions they worked together, the first joint work is a play.
"Kitchen and addiction" . She enjoyed great success with the public. The second work is the play “Family Resemblance”. This production won three Cesar Awards, the Molière Prize, received positive reviews from theater critics, who were impressed by the script itself. All the works of the young couple are characterized by rough and sharp humor, but do not humiliate the dignity of any of the characters.
Then the young couple was noticed by the master of French cinema Alain René, who offered the duo to work on the play “Smoking is not smoking”, written by Alan Ekborn. After the release of the film on the screens Agnès Jaouy and Jean-Pierre Bakri worked on the script for the film “Everybody knows this song”. They have received numerous awards for this work.
Then the equally popular films of this unusual couple came out: “Look at me”, “Tell me about the rain”, “The role of her life”, “For someone else’s taste”, “Nina’s House” and many other wonderful films.
For a while, the duo diverged and they worked on different projects, but now they are working together again.
