After graduating from school, Sergey entered the Saratov Theatre School for the course of Yu.Kiselev. After that, he served in the ranks of the Soviet Army, returning from which Sergey went to work as an actor in the Saratov Theater.
In 2001, Puskepalis graduated from the Higher Theatre Educational Institution, the course of Peter Fomenko. He staged the play by A. Slapovsky in Moscow "Twenty-seven", which took part in the festival "Baltic House".
