Artem Smola starred in the director Kirill Serebrennikov in the TV series "Rostov-Pope" and "Diary of the Killer". He starred in the title role in the short film by Nikolai Khomeriki, telling about the last days of mother and son on the eve of separation due to an incurable illness and won prizes at the largest international film festivals. Acting duo Artem Smola and Natalia Kolyakanova was specially noted at the festival of Eastern European cinema "Cinema" held in Germany.
