However, it was the stage of the Yanka Kupala Theatre that presented most of his most prominent roles: Osip from N. Gogol, Caliban from W. Shakespeare, Tartuf from the eponymous work of J.-B. Moliere. On this stage he played a play, for which he received the State Prize of the USSR in 1985. In 1997, it was called the People’s Party.
He died on July 13, 1999.
