In 1989 he graduated from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) - the workshop of Sergei Bondarchuk and Irina Skobtseva. For several years he was an actor of the Moscow theater “Players”, where he played in plays based on the works of V. Voynich, S. Mrozhek, J. Orwell, J. Swift, S. Dovlatov.
