Marina Mstislavovna Neelova was born on January 8, 1947 in Leningrad. She became interested in theater at school and after a decade, in 1964, entered the acting faculty of LGITMIK, where she studied in the workshop V.Merkurieva and I.Meyerhold. In 1971, the actress began to work in the Theater named after Mossovet, and since 1974 - in the "Contemporary". Marina Neelova made her film debut while still a student, playing the leading female roles in the film Nadezhda Kosheverova "Old, Old Tale" (1970).
