In 1969, the theater-studio was closed, and Semyon Farada was invited to work in Mosconzert. Later in 1972 he went to work in the Moscow Theater of Drama and Comedy on Taganka to Yuri Lyubimov, where he played many roles. In this theater, the actor met his wife, Maria Policeimako. Their son took his mother’s name, graduated from GITIS and became an actor.
Since the late 60s, Semyon Farada began acting in films. During the filming at the Tajik film studio in the film Valery Akhadov “Forward, the Guardsmen” Semyon was given to understand that the name Ferdman cannot stand in the credits, so the famous pseudonym Semyon Farada appeared.
