Konstantin Adashevsky was born in a village called Tuleshkovo, which is now part of Poland, on April 11, 1897. In 1925 he graduated from drama courses and gymnasium and in the same year began to work as an actor at the Alexander Pushkin Theatre.

Rafferty was filmed based on the novel by an American writer in 1980, the acting group included such celebrities as Evgenia Simonova, Oleg Borisov, Larisa Malevanna, Armen Dzhigarkhanyan and others. After the release on the screens, the picture had a very high rating and success with the audience.
In 1947, Konstantin Adeshevsky became the Honored Artist of the RSFSR, in 1951 he became the Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR, and in 1985 he was recognized as the People's Artist of the USSR. He also has such awards: the Order of the Badge of Honor, the Order of Friendship of Peoples, the award of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
The talented actor died on June 1, 1987 in Leningrad.
