However, this role was not for McNairy a pass to Hollywood. He decided that he needed to work as a guide to glacial peaks in British Columbia.
When an injured back forced him to forget about his plans, he decided to go to a Los Angeles film school. A year later, McNairy met with his agent. Scooth later said he had met John, and he immediately said he would not represent him under any circumstances. However, McNairy came to his office two weeks later with several photos, which resulted in five years of further cooperation.
With the participation of John Pearce and his former UTA agent Josh Klein, the actor organized his own production company Group Films. In 2007, Scoot for the first time acted as a producer in the film “Midnight Kiss”.
