Leonid Bakshtaev (1934-1995) – actor of the Soviet theater and cinema. Leonid Georgievich was born in the Belarusian village of Dobryn. He studied at the Theatre Institute in his native Belarus, graduating in 1958, played at various stage venues, including Kiev, Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk. An incredibly talented actor, he could easily turn into the most opposite images, invariably conquering the audience with his skill. Since 1967, the actor also starred in films, where he often embodied heroic images.
