Mikhail Golubovich entered the Karpenk-Karyogo Theatre Institute for the fourth time, in between the entrance exams, working at the plant as a filler, hammer, cutter. But even in student days, things didn’t go smoothly. Several times, according to Mikhail Golubovich, he was intended to be expelled: squeezed, not plastic, can not dance. Hard work in the factory affected. He learned to dance and even performed at government concerts. And he graduated from college, too.
The first serious work of Mikhail Golubovich in the cinema was the role of Vasily Porik in the film.
Prisoners of Beaumont . Porick is a real person with a dramatic fate. During the war he was partisan in France. The French erected a monument to “Soviet Lieutenant Basil” as a national hero. At home, he was considered a traitor.
In the theater and cinema, Mikhail Golubovich played many roles. This is the White Guard officer who created and led the gang, in “Commissioners”, and “Taras Bulba” according to the immortal work of Nikolai Gogol. In his filmography such different films as “Dubrovsky” and “Duma about Kovpak”, “Axelratka” and “Mercedes leaves the chase”.
Mikhail Golubovich is the artistic director of the Luhansk Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre, and, of course, the actor of this theater. He teaches at the Luhansk Institute of Culture and Art.
