The dramaturgy of the script by Dmitry Vasiliu and Boris Dobrodeev is based on the attempts of Sophia Kovalevskaya’s daughter to figure out who her mother was outside of science and social activities. The female image of the great scientist in the film was recreated by young Elena Safonova.
