Brian Dennehy was born on July 9, 1938 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and grew up in Brooklyn. With a bachelor’s degree in history, Dennehy graduated from Columbia University, where he also played American football, then served five years in the Marines. Dennehy made his debut in the 1977 film SEMI – TOUGH. The popularity came to Dennehy after the television series “Catch the Killer”, and as a big-screen actor he became known after Peter Greenway’s film “The Architect’s Bruck” (1987). The roles of
