Bonnie Bedelia Culkin was born on March 25, 1952 in New York City. She graduated from Hunter College and American Ballet School in New York. Bedelia is mostly known as a television and theater actress, not as a wide-screen star. Although she has been acting in films since 1969, she first attracted attention after the film Heart Like a Wheel (1983). The actress was remembered primarily for her roles as the wives of the main characters in the films Die Hard (first and second) and Presumption of Innocence (1990).
