The famous actor Igor Iankovsky was born on April 29, 1951 in the city of Leninabad, located in Tajikistan. The boy belonged to a very famous acting family, whose creative successes are known not only in Russia, but also far beyond its borders. Rostislav Yankovsky, Igor’s father, and his even more famous uncle – Oleg Yankovsky – were actors whose roles are still remembered by many theatergoers and TV viewers. Their interesting life, rich in emotions and events, and, of course, genes, influenced the future actor, and Igor did not have to think about choosing his profession - everything was clear right away, as a child.
In 1974, Yankovsky Jr. graduated from the B.V. Shchukin Theatre School, operating at the Vakhtangov Theatre. Almost immediately after that, Igor became an actor in the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, in which he performed until 1992. In films, Yankovsky began to act from about the mid-70s. For almost twenty years he had to play a completely different in its “content” role – hit by a car treasure hunter Torchinsky from the film “Golden mine”, Dmitry Selivanov, the hero of the film “At the beginning of the game”, Korableva from the picture
Charlotte's necklace And many others. These films made Igor Rostislavovich Yankovsky a very famous and popular actor in the Soviet Union, but despite this, he decided to leave his profession and pursue another career.
First, the actor began to work with his friend in his brokerage firm, and then Igor Iankovsky, together with Vladimir Evstafiev, organized an advertising agency, becoming pioneers in this type of activity in Russia. In parallel with these classes, Igor managed to play in cinema and theater for some time, but then, setting priorities, he focused on advertising. In 1996, Yankovsky became president of the Moscow International Advertising Festival, and in 2004 president of the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia and co-founder and head of the Advertising Cartel agency.
