Jeremy Piven was born on July 26, 1965 in New York City, to an acting family. When Piven was two years old, his parents moved to Chicago, where they opened their own theater studio. Already at the age of eight, the boy debuted on stage in the play by A. P. Chekhov. At the same time, Jeremy became friends with popular actor John Cusack. This friendship they carried through their lives.
Piven graduated from high school, after which he completed his education at New York University. In parallel with his studies at theatrical courses, he successfully performed on the stages of local theaters.
For the first time American film lovers saw him in the 1986 film Lucas. There was a very small role, but he was lucky to work with Charlie Sheen and Winona Ryder.
In 1988, together with his closest friend Cusack Piven founded the company “New Crime Productions”, while actively continuing to act in films such as “The Player” (The Player, 1992), “20 bucks” (Twenty Bucks, 1993) and others.
1994 was significant for the actor in that he first got the lead role in the film PPU (PCU). True, the film failed miserably, but it became a stepping stone for the actor to the role in the popular sitcom Helen (1994-1998). Piven continues to polish his acting skills, works hard. Such famous films as "Very Bad Things" (Very Bad Things, 1998), "The Fall of the Black Hawk Down" (Black Hawk Down, 2001), "Old School" (Old School, 2003) appear on the screens. And yet in these films, the main laurels did not go to him.
The breakthrough took place after the release of the TV series “Beauties” (2004-2008), where Jeremy played Ari Gold. Glory fell on him with an avalanche: offers to act, the adoration of the public, novels with the first Hollywood beauties. And most importantly – the recognition of professional filmmakers, as evidenced by the nominations for the Golden Globe and Emmy, and the invitation to play in “Trump Aces” (Smokin’ Aces, 2006).
During his career, Jeremy Piven starred in 71 films and television series, produced 2 films. He continues to work actively (one of his last works is “American Empire”, 2009).
The audience also remember him in such paintings as
"I'm melting with you" "The Highway," "I'm Kissing Girls." /
