In 1995, Patrick Wilson graduated from the university with a degree in dramatic art. The future wife of the famous musician and actor, Dagmar Dominchik, studied at the same university. She graduated from university three years later. In 2005, they married, and in the summer of 2006, their eldest son Kalin was born. The youngest son Cassian was born in 2009.

A year after graduating from university, Patrick began to play in small theaters in New York, and soon on Broadway. The most striking and popular were his works in the productions of “Oklahoma!”, “Male striptease” and “Prisoning success”.
In 2001 and 2002, the actor was awarded the Tony Award for his work in the theater. Since 2001, Patrick began acting in films. In 2003, he received an Emmy and Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Role in the TV series Angels in America. Wilson also continues to perform on Broadway.
