Not everyone is allowed to dry on the stage and smell behind the scenes since childhood. To some, love for acting comes at a fairly mature age. So it was with a young Russian actor of cinema and theater Danila Dunayev.
Danila was born on July 15, 1981 in Moscow. The versatility of his parents made Danila himself a very multifaceted person: from his mother - who worked in the field of economics - he took the ability to exact sciences, and from his father - a famous athlete and multiple champion in fencing - texture and love for sports. This passion for literally all sports (swimming, freestyle wrestling, karate, fencing, basketball) led to the fact that Danila had to choose between a sports career, which promised to be very successful, and graduation from school. Having chosen education, after obtaining a certificate of secondary education, the young man entered the Moscow Aviation Institute.
It was in the walls of MAI that Danilu “stuck” – he suddenly plunged into the world of KVN and amateur artistic activity, which turned out to be much more attractive than the learning process itself. However, this did not prevent the future actor from successfully switching from course to course.
After Danila became a registered social psychologist, he decided to become a professional actor. So he decided to go to Shchukinsky school, which in the end was done. Among his teachers were real luminaries of scenic skill: Shlykov, Burov, Kazan, Panteleyev, Bienboim, Borisov, Simonov, Simakov, Lanova, Kuznetsov, Laskaya. While still a student, Danila took part in the production of two diploma performances, playing the diverse roles of the theater director Ivan Vasilyevich Bulgakov (“Theatrical novel”) and Tirso de Molina (“Don Gil – Green pants”).
Danil graduated from the school in 2006, at the same time he was admitted to the Mayakovsky Theater, where he participated in the production of the plays "Red Riding Hood" and "Beautiful Man."
The debut of the novice artist in the cinema took place during his student years: director Svetlana Druzhinina noticed a photo of a textured young man in the acting department of Mosfilm decided to try him for the role of Peter Sumarokov in one of the last films of the series "Secrets of Palace Revolutions" - "Vivat, Anna!".
