Before watching the film "Fanfan-Tulpan" Andrei Kharitonov (25.07.1959, Kiev), never wanted to become an actor. He studied at the physics and mathematics school, was fond of drawing and dreamed of getting a diploma of architect. The brilliant French film changed all plans: having received a certificate of secondary education, Kharitonov entered the acting department of the Karpenko-Karogo Theater Institute, and already during his studies he received an amazing offer - to play the main role in the film.
TV movie "Gadge" .
The first role for the young actor was very difficult, the filmmakers gave him an unusually dramatic character. The beginning of filming coincided with the birthday of Kharitonov - he was twenty years old. In the hard work on the image of Ovod Kharitonov helped the knowledge that he received from his teachers, directing Mashchenko and the assistance of experienced partners in the film - Sergei Bondarchuk and Anastasia Vertinskaya. He played in one breath, on the rupture of the aorta, and after filming for a long time could not leave the image of Rivares - a vulnerable, loving and proud man of unthinkable willpower, who died, but still won.
The role of Ogad was not just a debut - it brought Kharitonov "Golden Nymph" at the IFF of TV films in Monte Carlo (1981), the State Prize of the Ukrainian SSR named after T. G. Shevchenko (1982), and, of course, love and attention from the audience.
The film adaptation of the novel was followed by the roles of a heroic and romantic plan in the films “Secrets of St. Jura”, “On the Pomegranate Islands”, “Yaroslav the Wise”, “The Star and Death of Joaquin Murieta” – the characters played by Kharitonov were people of different planes who lived in different times, but to some extent continued the line of the Gadge. Kharitonov himself singles out the image of Turoboev in the TV series Life of Klim Samgin (1987) - this role took place four years after the artist moved from Kiev to Moscow.
In Moscow, Kharitonov became an artist of the Maly Theatre, but he preferred cinema, considering it his most favorite art form, and even tried himself in directing, creating the film “The Thirst of Passion”. For the directorial debut, this picture, in which A. Vertinskaya, I. Kostolevsky, V. Rakov played, was awarded prizes at the festivals “Constellation” and “Literature and Cinema”, the prize of the festival “Kinotavr” in the nomination “Special Prize among “Films for the Elect” (1991).
The twentieth century ended for Kharitonov with the creation of television programs ("Dream Factory", "Films of Our Memory", "Flash"), and the 21st recalled his involvement in the acting profession: Andrei played in the historical drama of Gleb Panfilov "Romanovs. Crowned Family", and later in the detective series "Turkish March", "On the Corner, at the Patriarchs".
Andrei Igorevich appreciates his viewer, who accompanies him for more than a quarter of a century and believes that you need to cherish every moment, and also be happy. /
