After graduating in 1933, Sergey Filippov became an actor of the Opera and Ballet Theatre troupe, but during one of the performances he had a heart attack, after which he had to say goodbye to the ballet. Having become an actor of the Comedy Theatre, he successfully played in numerous comedy productions and soon became a favorite of the public.
