Jonathan Davis is the vocalist of the legendary band Korn, one of the most gifted vocalists of the last decade and the author of such shrill and sincere lyrics that it is even a little scary. He was born on January 18, 1971 in the small California town of Bakersfield. As a student and part-time assistant coroner, this work had a strong psychological impact on him and the experience of such work led to the creation of songs such as "Pretty" and "Dead bodies everywhere". In his youth, he began playing in the band Sexart and later moved to the band l.a.p.d., which later became the well-known band Korn. For the first time, his solo career began to speak about itself with the release of the film Queen of the damned. Davis' soundtrack included 5 songs: "forsaken", "slept so long", "system", "not meant for me", "redeemer". Songs performed quite in the style of korn, but with otherworldly electronics and a large bias in Gothic and deep depression, while most songs korn still cheerful. In 2007, Davis went on a solo tour, where he performs songs from the Queen of the Damned soundtrack, as well as some Cornish songs (“alone i break”, “hold on”, “got the life”, “tearjerker”, “hey daddy”).
Everyone who listened to his performance could not help but notice how much Davis is a professional performer, with what pleasure he improvises, and many famous songs are presented in an unusual, sometimes even jazz treatment. He also released the DVD "Alone I Play".
