You have to do everything you can, you have to work your hardest, and if you do, you have a shot at a silver lining.
Oh, my God, what a disgusting title the Russian distributors gave the film! Sometimes it’s just annoying, but now, just looking at the word “crazy” changes the whole attitude of people to the film, and therefore it is perceived as a funny story about two crazy people. This would be true if it weren’t for the original name. It focuses on the “ray of happiness” – what is so lacking now so many people.
The main character of the film tries to follow the ideal of a person who offered him his ex-wife, and the main goal is to stay positive, try to see something positive in all the adversity and troubles. It is so difficult for people in our time, so much so that only individuals who have experienced something really hard, unbearable, who have broken wings can do it. Without this phase shift, the process of becoming an optimist does not start. In the course of the plot, two such people collide, which creates an atmosphere of anticipation of miracles, unusual and incredible things, a kind of “juju” in which the hero’s father believes. When immersed in this world of small people with their big problems, you feel really human, there is confidence that in such a situation you yourself will do the same.
The performance of Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence was a real revelation to me, I did not think that the guy from “Bachelor Party” and the hunter from “Hunger Games” are capable of such a high level of skill. Robert De Niro, Jackie Weaver, Chris Tucker – no comments are required, the characters are brilliantly revealed.
The highest score I would put the soundtrack of the film, because to collect so many musical masterpieces in one tape – it is necessary to try. Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, and Danny Elfman himself wizarded the entire orchestra. In general, this film is a pleasure for the eyes, for the ears, and for the heart.
I got a lot of happiness, thanks!
P.S. At first I thought that the ending does not fit the general mood, then I realized that it is in the end a fairy tale, and not an ancient Greek tragedy. So the movie's completely sustained.
“My crazy guy – what kind of title is so ridiculous?” – I thought before the release of this film on the screens. And indeed, so many different names could be given to this film that one involuntarily wonders whether domestic localizers delve into the essence of the rolled movie. As a result, this tape during the rental I did not appreciate, and the subsequent rapid elevation of her at the Oscars was met as skeptically as the triumph in some of the nominations of last year’s “Bachelorette”. However, the critically acclaimed Jennifer Lawrence embarrassed my unambiguous assessment, as this actress has recently been respected by me. And so I was going to see this movie for almost six months just for Lawrence.
What a surprise it was when the film dragged me from the initial frames. I was interested in watching the twists and turns of the plot, I wonder how Pat sought to improve for the sake of his beloved wife Nikki, how he searched for himself in his town and communicated with his parents. Speaking of parents, this is a fun family! What is only the father in the inimitable performance of Robert de Niro, who believes in various coincidences and tries to see everywhere natural connections in order to ensure the victory of the adored Eagles? And how does he make a bet with an immutable Randy and forbid touching the control panels of his household? After all, it is not for nothing that De Niro has been playing in comedies in recent years, he has very integral comedic images. Anyway, watching. I immediately liked the psycho, and I even forgot about the aforementioned Lawrence.
One of the things that surprised me about this movie was the lead actor Bradley Cooper. That's what I didn't expect. He was so good at playing cute Pat that he was even upset that he was not given the cherished statuette (although then I remembered Day-Lewis, who would still tear everyone up anyway). His character turned out exactly sweet, sincere and kind. He tells people the truth to their faces, often without thinking that his words may offend the interlocutor. Everyone thinks he's crazy, but he's not. Pat can be considered the most adequate among the residents of the town, because he says common sense: take at least his statements that marriage can not just be thrown out of your life, it should be tried to save. When I read the synopsis for the film, which was about split personality, I thought I would see Pat as someone like Mort Rainey from The Secret Window, and it’s good that my fears were not confirmed. Although, he does have something from Johnny Depp's character - he went crazy after catching his wife with another. That’s where the resemblance ends, and Pat only suffers from the fact that in moments of anger he is disturbed by one obsessive thing (and what – I won’t say, look for yourself), after which he loses control over himself. In general, Cooper’s hero turned out to be kind, naive and sincere.
Next, let's move on to Tiffany. Tiffany is the epitome of loneliness. And her bad reputation comes only from the desire to fill the void formed after the death of a loved one. Her character reminded me of Blanche Dubois from Tram Desire, if you remember, the heroine of this play also went for anyone who was ready to say a kind word to her. Tiffany behaves outrageously and vulgarly - this is how she declares and claims her existence. She wants to make friends with someone, and it is her fault that she does not receive the attention she expects. In Pat, she felt a kindred spirit, another equally "outcast" loneliness. They are really alike - a bit of that, but kind and untruthful, intelligent and artistic. There is another great movie - "Benny and June" about two "not like all" eccentrics who in our huge and cold world of people still found each other.
Of course, “Silver Ray of Hope” (“My Boyfriend is a Psycho”) is not a film for younger children, there are many dialogues here that are not intended for children’s ears, but after all, the movie was shot with an eye on an adult audience, so everything is logical. What is important, there is no vulgarity and American humor below the belt.
But don't tune in to comedy before watching. It is rather a tragicomedy, about difficult human relationships, where nothing is simple. But at the same time, this movie is very positive, it really tells about a ray of hope for happiness. And I really want to believe that for every crazy person there is a crazy one.

Hollywood is Hollywood. How can you take such a non-trivial, interesting idea, successfully develop it for more than an hour, build a tall building, and then take and destroy this elegant and fragile structure? With the formulation that many people in two hours will lose their neck to look at the spire of this high-rise, so it is worth bringing down, let the audience look at its wreckage from top to bottom - they like it so much.
For a long time, mental illnesses and mental hospitals were associated only with the liberation of the mind and escape from physical imprisonment. Small disorders were of little interest to the wide distribution: he was given schizophrenia or split personality. And then comes the film, which promises to sincerely and without pathos to tell about simple syndromes, about the people who struggle with them and live, as a rule, not behind soft walls, but among us. People who help each other overcome their fears and illnesses. About the case when the best treatment is not medicines, but the therapy of communication with a person to whom you are not indifferent. That’s what the first hour and a half of the film is about. And then...
...there is chaos. The writers were hit on the hands and head with a collection of Hollywood stamps and forced to rewrite the ending of the film in accordance with its postulates. As if frightened of their courage, clearly imagining the box office failure, the creators hastened to simplify and casualize their offspring, so that someone with the name “average viewer” was satisfied. Immediately, the green light was taught and brazenly climbed into the script: an allusion to “Step forward”, a stupid bet, a dialogue with his wife and a total, all-conquering happy ending. Everything came back to normal – this is Hollywood, not author’s cinema, here the ball is ruled by the producer, so such a sloppy and uninteresting denouement invaded a mild and straightforward picture.
In the end, what is the message of "My boyfriend"? Be selfish, nourish your obsessive thoughts, and the cheating wife will definitely want to forgive you, after which you just have to slip her a pig. Do stupid things, make mistakes, and life will fix everything for you. The film ludicrously indulges in the compulsive disorder of the head of the family, patting him on the shoulder in a fatherly way and sentenceing him, you do everything right, old man, next time argue all-in-the-box and you will definitely double. Bet your house, your car, your kidney, don't forget your rituals. You're perfectly healthy if your luck smiles. So how did the Solitano and Tiffany family deserve their luck? By being hammered into difficult rehearsals and in a drunken frenzy shaking their legs and skating on the dance floor? We're sick, are we forgiven? Or that they telepathically set the goal for their favorite team? That's right, they didn't deserve an answer. Stay stupid and infantile and happiness will find you. We guarantee it.
Of the personalities of Bradley Cooper pleased more than others. His impulsiveness, sharpness and unpredictability, he really did not leave any doubt that he clearly did not last. The glassy gaze, obsessions and rare glimpses of pure consciousness characteristic of bipolar syndrome created a lively, eccentric image. Jennifer Lawrence impressed less, perhaps because Cooper looked surprisingly healthy, and depressive madness revealed only in vulgar outfits and bright tantrums. She never really showed her hypersexual hedonism, thanks to which she became famous throughout the city, and left the impression of a normal, but not stress-resistant girl.
Still, it’s worth giving credit: in a thoroughly cloned genre of romantic melodrama, “The Boy” is an influx of fresh, non-laboratory genes that unfortunately turned out to be recessive. They will take a long time to take root: cranberries, infantilism and primitiveness remain dominant. The film is a kind of veteran, concussed and with a crutch, who can deservedly boast to his neighbors in the niche, concussed from birth: Here, at first I was so dashing and brave ... but the marketing bullet overtook my poor head. And then they wrote me off and I got my crazy soul mate.
What is this "My boyfriend is crazy"? The picture is different. And the exact translation of another - "Silver ray of hope".
With this name, everything will appear in a completely different light. A young but rapidly growing man cannot manage his life. The dramatic episode associated with the betrayal of his wife is the last straw. Overheating of the psyche leads him to a mental institution.
But that's backstory. The film begins with how he goes out and tries to re-build a relationship with his parents, brother, find a girl and start a relationship with her.
It's not that simple. But in opposition to society, its attitudes and circumstances, it is the "Ray of Hope", in the form of positive attitudes pulls the main character to normal life.
So we see a typical plot for modern America: the main character passes through active sociopathy to a rational, meaningful life. Similar films were back in the 70s (Prisoner of Second Avenue, Fever on Saturday night), but are now being filmed and nominated for an Oscar with enviable regularity (Nothing better, Forrest Gump, Anger Management, Little Miss Sunshine, I Wish Up in the Sky, etc.).
To my taste, “Silver Ray of Hope” is much weaker than its closest counterpart – the painting by Paul Thomas Anderson “Love knocking down”. Unlike Anderson’s film, David O’Russell’s film was sharp and highly predictable.
Almost from the very beginning, it was clear that the hero would be socialized.
David Bradley and Jennifer Lawrence didn’t impress me. Lawrence certainly has acting talent, but nothing more – she just got into the trend. Something tells me that in 5 to 10 years, she will be referred to as Britney Spears or Helen Hunt these days.
It’s hard to say a lot about Bradley – an ordinary actor. Nothing special. The same Adam Sandler in “Love, knocking down”, playing a similar role, much more laid out.
And finally, the Oscar nomination for best supporting actor gives every reason to discuss the performance of Robert de Niro. I will be brief: I played at a good level, and the character is very clearly spelled out.
Bottom line: to my taste - the picture is vastly overrated, a pale shadow of Paul Thomas Anderson's "Love-Blowing." And that's fine, because she really promotes emerging American values - hence the numerous Oscar nominations. And it is thanks to such rude propaganda (and it does not matter what exactly is promoted) that the film loses well.

I love him from beginning to end. This is an unusually sad comedy about the lives of people who are not like everyone else. They are different from others, and they are condemned.
And I hate the Russian adaptation of the title, "My Boyfriend is a Psycho," a title meant to drive popcorn eaters looking for the comedy "purely to cheer." It's not that type of movie, and it's not that level. There is no action, no clumsy jokes, no sartire humor. It's a smile movie. It is one that simultaneously expresses joy and sadness.
A collection of rays of hope is a film with two sides. It's very thin, light, but at the same time elusively complex. It needs to be considered, analyzed and, most importantly, understood. This is a movie that has a warm aftertaste. It's a crazy love story - uncertain, incomprehensible, but charming.
The movie likes to belittle. But do not judge it biased, you need to try it and decide whether you want to understand it or not. “The Collection...” is absolutely rightly nominated for an Oscar – in contrast to a string of films about politics, wars, and again politics. He is the white crow on the nominee list. Light drama about difficult people. It is easy, and at the same time very difficult.
Lawrence deserved her Oscar. She's absolutely crazy in this tape. Such pure acting, coming from somewhere inside, truly fascinates me. This girl is the discovery of the young acting generation, and I am very happy to follow her work.
Cooper is very charming, the nomination is absolutely deserved. A special bow for his beautiful lost look throughout the film. Just a targeted hit in the role of Pat (yes, I read the book).
De Niro is charming, and guess what? is also somewhat insane. Jackie Weaver is another delightful hit in the book image. Well, Chris Tucker is a passing decoration of the madness that is happening.
The world will break your heart anyway. It's guaranteed (c)
A one-time movie. The actors play great, but the director shot strangely. At the beginning, you look at an uninteresting mosaic, which, apparently, is designed to reflect the inner state of the main character. The next (somewhere from the middle to the end) is more interesting. Nice ending. But I personally feel sorry for the time spent watching. And leaves a feeling that such an idea can be presented more interesting, and do not believe that such a dance can give more than three. True acting is captivating, and the main characters are very charismatic.
It's a good story. The film is about a guy who was so struck by his wife’s infidelity that his nervous breakdown leads to several injunctions and a stay in a psychiatric hospital for 8 months. While in the hospital, he realizes that he cherishes what he had and comes to the conclusion that he is guilty of cheating on his wife. When he leaves the clinic, he hopes to rectify the situation. But his wife does not want to communicate with him, considering him a psycho, like most of his acquaintances. Trying to find a way to communicate with his wife so that she sees that he has changed, he meets a girl who everyone around him also considers mentally unstable, but in a slightly different way. This experience changes his life dramatically.
As I thought, the film is about how difficult it is to adapt to a cruel world, but it is possible and necessary. In addition, the basic idea can be expressed by a quote: “To understand my psychos, you need to do something crazy yourself.” And, perhaps, after viewing, we can conclude: If everyone around you thinks you're crazy, just change the environment to those who the same people consider to be crazy and you will be happy.
Before I saw the movie, I started reading the book. And when I swallowed 75%, I couldn’t resist watching the movie. In one breath, I was pleasantly surprised. Although the order of events is slightly different from the book, it did not bother me. So let's go step by step.
-Plot. I’m not going to retell the whole movie, I just like it. Yes, the relationship between the main character and the father was different (in the book they are colder), but this move I liked. The small details did not match, but it did not hurt. It was good. (5 out of 5)
Actor's play. When I found out that Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper were acting in the film, I immediately took note that this film should be watched. I'm amazed at Jennifer's performance. She's beautiful. For me, she's done the role perfectly, that I can't judge Cooper. Yes, he's good, but he's got some Pat weird. (4 out of 5)
-Atmosphere. There's nothing to tell. It was nice to see it and I wanted to know what would happen next. Thank you. (5 of 5).
Tiffany: Humanity is just nasty and there's no silver lining
The painting “Silver Linings Playbook”, in Russian translation was called “My boyfriend is crazy”. Not the best option, in my opinion. At once it seems that this is again a short-lived youth comedy about teenagers. Fortunately, the film does not fit into this category.
Interestingly, it is not clear what to expect from this picture. Whether it's heavy drama, light comedy, heartbreaking melodrama or something like that. The plot seemed rather unusual, at least against the background of films that were recently released. The story of a mentally ill person who is trying with all his might to return to his past life, to find the lost respect of his parents, a friendship that is tested only in those moments when trouble happens in life, and the main character aims at all costs to reconcile with his wife and prove to her his sincere love and desire to create a family with her and live happily again.
Immediately you need to “walk” through the cast. It's wonderful!
Bradley Cooper was very pleased. He played his part perfectly. You really believe him, you sympathize with his hero. He showed himself in one film and as a comedian and dramatic, he was able to evoke a number of emotions: smile, sadness, resentment and even anger.
Jennifer Lawrence is a pretty good actress. I did a good job, but I can’t call her a great job. It is impossible to hide the fact that the actress is still gaining experience, and there is something to learn. But in general, thanks to a very strong cast, she coped quite well.
As always, Robert De Niro has only positive reviews. An actor is one talent. I don’t know of any film work he couldn’t do. Beautiful as always.
Among the actors, we will also see Chris Tucker and Julia Styles, who played supporting roles, but quite reliably and qualitatively.
I want to pay tribute to the director, David Russell. The plot is captivating, addictive. You are waiting for the main character to do what he does next. Will he be able to return to his former life, and will his relatives, colleagues and friends accept him? The difficult relationship between parents and children is affected. What if your child is mentally ill? How to behave so as not to worsen the situation? How can you prove to your child that you love him/her and will always support him/her? On the other hand, the child, seeing problems with the mind of his parents, tries to help them and help.
The film is not superficial. It touches on very serious topics and after watching it there is no void. Time (a whole two hours, by the way) is measured, you can think about some just watched episodes.
Despite the fact that the scenery does not change much and the action does not occur every time in new cities / countries, but only transferred from one side of the street to the other, there is no sense that the action does not develop, and nothing happens. It will not be boring.
For me, the ending was obvious, everything ended exactly as I expected, which of course I am very happy about. I highly recommend watching the movie! You won't be disappointed.
No wonder he has an Oscar nomination in the category “Best film”!

For all the time of the existence of cinema, so many melodramas have been shot - can not count. And what tricks did not have to resort to screenwriters and directors in order to surprise the sophisticated picky viewer, demanding more and more new sensations and effects.
“My boyfriend is a psycho” stands out from the general line, but personally, this difference did not give me any pleasure. For the first thirty minutes of watching the tape, I had to drink a few cups of coffee to stay awake. Perhaps someone likes hysterical throwing, screaming in the middle of the night, throwing objects out of windows and other inadequate reactions of a mentally ill person, but I am not at all impressed with such things. Want to show how difficult it is for the main character to cope with crises in his personal life? Demonstrate how the so-called “psychs” are seen by the average person? I have seen a lot of deep films telling about the fate of people with limited mental and physical abilities, and against their background the WFP looks ridiculous, absolutely absurd parody of life realities.
Maybe they were trying to show us a touching story of unusual love? In this case, there are too many conversations about nothing, some empty arguments, scandals, unnecessary, drawn-out scenes that clearly interfere with perception.
Regarding the actors, I can say the following. I've never been a Cooper fan. And now my attitude towards him has not changed. The 2011 thriller Areas of Darkness is the only exception. Here Bradley was in his place, played very well and remembered for a long time.
I first saw Jennifer Lawrence in 2008’s Burning Plain. She was a very young girl, but, nevertheless, even then, she attracted attention with a good, high-quality game. It is difficult to judge about the metamorphoses that occurred with her, I think it takes about 3-5 years for her potential to be fully revealed. Someone predicts her future Meryl Streep, but I saw in her a distant resemblance (both internal and external) to Renee Zellweger, the actress I admire and admire. And I will be very happy if Jenny manages to reach the same heights as the aforementioned ladies.
Robert De Niro gave his all, playing the role by all five points. Although he does not succeed, in my opinion, to get back to the bar, which he himself set in 1990, starring in the drama Awakening.
In fairness, I note that in the tape occasionally there are soulful moments: a date in a cafe, learning to dance, participation in a competition, final recognition. But this is not enough to bring the film to the level that was stated.
Summary: Despite some pleasant episodes, I am frankly disappointed and regret the time spent. I won't even give you an estimate. Try to look for yourself and draw your own conclusions.
It is with this phrase that the film begins ' My boyfriend is crazy' it became the life motto of the main character. It is not an accident at all.
The first impression of the title and poster (despite the dark colors) is a typical American comedy with vulgar humor. But don’t judge a book by its cover.
The film is really very deep. If you want to watch something 'light', 'My boyfriend is nuts' not for you. In my opinion, the film is great for those who have lost faith in themselves, for those who have abandoned a loved one, or just something did not work out in life. Exelsior. Be positive, develop, play sports, read books, don’t stop there and everything will be fine. At the same time, there is no playfulness, they say, he tried, and here is the first prize for him! No. 'Life goes on!' - this picture tells us. Every day is an opportunity to change something. For the best. There are no good days or bad days, it all depends on our attitude.
Despite the gloom and some pessimism (it seems that the main character will never achieve his goal - to be with his wife again), this very ray of hope remains, which saves everything. You don’t know for sure if there will be a happy ending, as in the aforementioned 'light' comedies, but with the main character you hope that he will get out of this quagmire of life.
Bradley Cooper perfectly coped with the role, the actor in this film is radically different from the funny guy we are used to seeing in & #39; Boy parties '.
I also liked Jennifer Lawrence - a gloomy person with her strangeness, which still has some charm.
Title ': My boyfriend is nuts & #39; not quite true, on the contrary, we see a normal guy who is surrounded by...crazy. Yes, that's right.
Completely absent 'sweeting romance' which directors try to present to us as love. We know that life is completely different. There are failed marriages, depression, even the death of loved ones. . . We see life here as it is. No embellishment. I would like to thank the director for this.
Well-chosen colors and music - perfectly reflect the mood of the film.
Overall, I was satisfied. The film is interesting and non-banal. I suggest.
There are no perfect people, just find someone as crazy as you.
I don’t like romantic comedies, but this movie is really cool and worth watching.
Oscar-winning picture of David O. Russell “My boyfriend is crazy” is based on the book by Matthew Quick “Silver Ray of Hope”. We open the story of the former teacher Pat Solitano, who spent 8 months in a psychiatric hospital and is now experiencing not the best of times. Returning home, the main character begins to work on himself - he reads books, runs in the mornings and tries to cope with the problem because of which he was in the hospital. At Ronnie's friend's dinner, Pat meets a girl named Tiffany. Tiffany isn’t exactly a “normal” girl. She has her own cockroaches in her head, and she and Pat are very similar. Soon after meeting, they begin to spend more and more time together. Each of them needs each other to achieve their goals. How it all ends - see for yourself.
What is this movie about?
That even crazy people like Pat can find their "half" and live happily.
A little bit about the cast
You’ve probably seen them on TV or on TV. Bradley Cooper (the trilogy "Bachelor Party", "Dark Areas"), Jennifer Lawrence ("The Hunger Games", "X-Men. First Class") and Robert De Niro ("The Godfather 2", "The Military Diver", "Meeting the Fockers")
Acting, humor, musical accompaniment - all at the highest level.
P.S. If you watch the movie, make sure there are no children around. The film received a rating of R.
For quite a long time I risked to start this film, since there were negative reviews from some friends, but now I finally became convinced that the principle of “I did not read, but condemn” should be disposed of as soon as possible.
Jennifer Lawrence managed to win an Oscar with her role in this work, but it is perhaps difficult to say: which of the two main characters was more worthy? Both suffer from some mental disorders, although it is not a severe form of schizophrenia, but still. Both have a difficult situation in their personal lives, they are closed in their small worlds. We are talking, of course, only about the embodied images themselves, but Bradley Cooper and the already mentioned Jennifer Lawrence played truly amazing. The running glance, nervousness and twitchiness inherent in people with similar problems, obsession with their thoughts - all this is available in our protagonists. Looking at them, it is impossible not to believe that a psychiatric hospital here will definitely not be superfluous.
Unfortunately, the plot is already more standard, i.e., no, it is not bad, but it does not cause the same vivid emotions as the play of the invited actors, so the overall impression is also slightly smeared, not allowing you to call this work a great example of a cinematoraf, just a great movie.
Still, perhaps, you should not advise My boyfriend is a psychopath to everyone and everyone, someone may seem boring, and some simply "strange" (as, in fact, a couple of people told me), because digging into the patient's brains is crucial here.
A lot of movies about love, but how many movies about the love of two psychopaths?
The story. The theme of the film is quite ordinary - the guy wants to return a girl who does not suit him at all, meets another who suits him, but understands only this at the end of the film. There are a lot of such films, but the creators of the film, put this ordinary idea in a very unusual situation. Now our doves are just crazy, literally. And they are surrounded by not quite normal people. But that's cool! Yes, we already know in advance how the film will end, but it is so interesting to watch the development of events.
There were decent jokes, ridiculous situations and amazing dialogue. These guys may be crazy, but these are the most frank people - their dialogue is lively, sometimes sharp, you follow every word. There are no moments when you can step back and make popcorn.
Actors (actors). I saw this movie only because of Brandley Cooper, I remember this actor after the movies “Bachelor party in Vegas” and “Darklands”. But I was scared off by Jennifer Lawrence. I remember her as Mystic from X-Men, but I remember her in a bad way. As Mystic, I didn't like her at all. But here she did her job well!
And Brandley and Jennifer got used to their roles, and most importantly they complemented each other perfectly. They did a fantastic job.
Conclusion. I can talk for a long time, but the review of this film was short. Because this movie can be said in one sentence: "Really, a good movie."
Why did I say good, not a masterpiece? Because the story was too ordinary. We knew right away that Pat and Tiffany were a match, and Nikki (Pat’s wife) was a negative character. Yes, Pat couldn't figure out who to choose for a long time, but from the outside it looked too obvious as black and white. If the director still showed everything through the eyes of Pat (and the psychotic view of the world is much more colorful), that is, he did not make Nikki a clear negative character, then there would be intrigue – who will he choose? And so the finale was predictable, otherwise everything is fine.
So for the predictability of the final bet:

This film did not reach the folder “Masterpieces”, but will remain in the folder “Great Movie”.
Good movie. Let the viewer not be afraid of the title. We don't know who the psycho is yet. Anyone can break. But the harsh American laws are merciless to those who once did not endure betrayal, loss or disappointment and gave way to negative emotions.
Such a person is forced to lie in a mental hospital, swallow pills, he is labeled, neighbors and acquaintances are afraid of him.
Whether it's our homeland - sat in the kitchen with or without vodka, talked to a reliable friend and deal with the end. But this is America, where it is not customary to pour out souls to each other. Look at the brother-in-law of the main character - Ronnie (it was nice to see John Ortiz, familiar from the bright role in the movie "Gangster") - he is strangled by his marriage, a wife who demands more and more. But he can't even talk about it, just banging his fist on the garage wall to the sound of metal. It was unexpected to see Julia Stiles as the model wife “here is our beautiful living room, here is our beautiful fireplace, here is our beautiful life” – everything is exemplary on display, everything is no worse than the others.
In this ideal, closed world, there is no room for strong emotions. Everyone is focused on himself, even the father of the hero opens up and turns to his son only at the end of the film.
Pat (Bradley Cooper) becomes a psychotic outcast after beating his wife's lover. He is looked after by a police officer, relatives and colleagues look with sympathy and fear. How hard and pointless it is! But it is easier for them to make him take a pill than to talk and open up to each other. He meets a girl who is in exactly the same situation. There are, as they say, two solitudes. A touching, sometimes heartbreaking story.
I didn’t expect to like the movie so much. Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence opened up to me as strong dramatic actors.
And, of course, pleased with the appearance of Chris Tucker! May God give him many more roles in the near future!
To sum it up, it’s a great movie! He brings goodness, positivity, the idea of hope and attentiveness to others. I recommend to lovers of melodramas, dramas, psychology and romance.

What a joy, what a joy, what an inspiration to watch this movie! It could have appeared in any era and still be a masterpiece! All this is a film with a strange name, invented by our distributors, “My boyfriend is crazy”!
After watching the film about the Oscar, floated into the hands of Jennifer Lawrence, there are no questions. You believe in her, you fall in love with her, and you realize that the industry’s top award for Best Actress couldn’t have belonged to anyone else. The image of the girl Tiffany, created by her, fascinates from the first minutes and continues to fascinate even a week after watching the film. About the fact that Hollywood lit a new star, now we can say with complete confidence. And it is doubly pleasant that this star belongs to a very young generation, just entering a big life - to your generation.
And Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro? Yes, they burn to the full, 100%, clearly showing what a real actor, an actor with a capital letter. I’m not afraid to say that the role of Pat Solitano is the best role in the career of Bradley Cooper. They say that playing a child and a madman is the hardest. But Bradley did it brilliantly, very convincingly demonstrating on screen what bipolar disorder is. Tarantino fans may burn me at the stake, but Cooper and Lawrence’s dance may well compete with Travolta and Uma Thurman’s in artistic and passion. De Niro once again proved that he is a great actor who can play absolutely any role.
This is an absolute breakthrough, because each of us has seen quite a lot of original films about love, but films about love between two mentally unstable people in my memory have not yet been. And this is the main feature of the film: it clearly shows that the line between normal / abnormal is extremely thin and that True Love is available to everyone and is able to heal and bring people back to life. So for me, the film My boyfriend is crazy along with Life of Pi becomes the main cinematic event of 2012, a masterpiece that I will watch again and again. It is also worth adding that these two films are a real living classic of cinema, which boldly stands on a par with the main pearls of world cinema. These are timeless movies that will be relevant at all times. And this is perhaps one of the few cases where I lean more towards the opinion of film critics than the opinion of site users: 7.4 is criminally low! So I'm putting ...
It was impossible to miss this film - here you and the handsome Bradley Cooper, and the incredibly talented winner of the Oscar and "big eyes" Jennifer Lawrence, and the legend Robert de Niro. So at the first opportunity, the film ended up on my computer and stole my attention from the first minute.
It is impossible not to appreciate the excellent cast, already named by me, which perfectly showed and revealed many of the characters’ character traits, fears and hopes. I was fascinated by the heroine Jen, a bright, interesting, individual person who tried her best to win the man of her dreams. I felt sorry for Bradley's hero, who couldn't forget his wife and lived dreams that might not have come true. Separately, I will note Chris Tucker, who pretty replenished, but did not lose his natural charm. How much did I miss him! :
I will also highlight the beautiful scenes of the dances and, in general, the excellent work of the director, without whom this film would not be the way we saw it. Well, the dances never left me indifferent, oh and I danced after the final credits: if the dancers saw me, they would take me for sure! But still one of the main components of this film was a mixture of different genres, thanks to which everyone could find something in the film – here you and drama, romance, comedy, and even sports drama. And some psychology for gourmets.
As a result, “My Guy Is a Psycho” is a great tape that got into the list of my “Favorite Films” and received a solid ten from me and one huge thank you for the fact that, like the main character, a shining ray of hope was also born in my soul. I wish there were more movies like that!
The film received a lot of nominations and awards, among which the most important is the Oscar nomination for the Main Film of the Year; the cast of the film, which received many ratings, and Jennifer Lawrence, who received a statuette for Best Actress. But the film stood out among others in that it received more than ambiguous reactions, especially among the mass audience, although it was received quite warmly among film critics. Why is that?! Everything is simple – this is a really good and soulful film. A film so unusual for our time. It is not about war or pain, it is not about the confrontation of different layers of society, the picture does not try to explain the essence of the universe. It’s just a film about two people: their relationship and the past that will always be there, in the end, about the “silver rims of the clouds”. Despite the fact that the main characters are people suffering from mental disorders, in other words, are psychotic, the film is lifelike. And most importantly, the director was not afraid to express his opinion, perception of the truth in an open text.
Operating work deserves the highest praise. It was not easy, but the film managed to keep the atmosphere of the book — a kind of family and domestic confusion. And also please minor details - close-ups of persons, objects, maybe they are not so important, but give the picture integrity and even greater realism. The installation of the picture and sound are more than good, they are high-quality and thoughtful to the smallest detail. There are no special effects in the film, the editing is good, the film has preserved the main thing that was in the book - soulfulness, which is why it looks so easy. I can’t help but mention the composer’s work, all the soundtracks fit so organically. Thanks to Danny Elfman, especially for "Walking Home," that's the song I've been imagining.
Acting. It's hard to pinpoint the best. Everyone is beautiful, everyone is on a level. Jennifer Lawrence - brilliant in this role. She's bright, explosive, lively, daring. There are so many contradictions. In the heroine there is a struggle between the past and the present, madness and reality. Jennifer created Tiffany, one of the most controversial movie characters. A girl who spits on social norms and, most importantly, is not afraid to be herself. The role of Pat, at the moment, is one of the best roles of Bradley Cooper. It is more than unusual for the existing role. The viewer feels the hero’s “break” that he stands at a new stage of life, but wants to go back, but can’t, tries to climb over the wall and falls, goes forward, with a constant look back. In the film, the roles of Robert De Niro, Jackie Weaver are not so significant, but it is impossible not to mention them, the actors experience the fate of the heroes from the inside. And you can feel it.
Each viewer will be able to look at themselves and others from a different angle. To become simpler, more sincere and more honest. Or simply to understand that “love” in itself is nothing. No one needs it without compassion, devotion, belonging, even those who have experienced this strong feeling. For such love brings only pain and destruction. The film has so many emotions and feelings, self-irony and dynamics, everything. Genre and that manifold is comedy, drama, melodrama, and tragedy with a pinch of romance. The picture is extremely multifaceted, like its heroes.
Result: The film is for everyone and not for everyone at the same time, it is ambiguous. Someone will look and be imbued with it, who simply will not understand and appreciate, and someone simply will not look. But it is worth watching, as it seems to me, and there you will see.

“You have to do the impossible.” You have to work hard. And if you succeed, you are positive, you have a ray of hope.
P.S. We're all a little crazy.
P.S.S.: “My boyfriend is crazy” – honestly, Russian localization, you kill.
After the great Fighter, I was very excited to see the new work of director David O. Russell. It’s amazing how a story on a social, family theme can be so glued to the screen – the case when I really agree with the positive attention of the Academy to the film.
The cornerstone of the whole story is the human factor and all the success and pleasant impressions of watching are built on acting. I am not saying that the events of the story itself are boring - no, on the contrary, you watch with curiosity the development of the plot and wait for the outcome. I have to admit, I even went overboard with the ending in my expectations. Most of the events unfold on one street in the American suburbs, which is peculiar, perhaps, to the series about housewives, but not a serious ambitious project. So the film is perceived very easily and just not pretentious - as a picture for family viewing. Of course, this is not a comedy, but the severity of the moral choice of the characters, sleepless nights regarding their fate, I think no one will. They want to empathize, gradually revealing the character of each of the key characters.
Bradley Cooper.
Jennifer Lawrence Here is one of the rarest female types that can only be found in movies. It causes a range of different emotions - from neglect, to sympathy and sympathy. I think the best confirmation of the importance of the created image was the prestigious Academy Award, which Lawrence deserved for this role.
Robert De Niro.
One of those examples when for the success of a film and the pleasure of watching it does not need a solid budget, striking the variety of locations and scenery. It is enough one great touching story and beautiful actors, from whose lips it will come. This is one of the best films of the year.
“The world will break your heart anyway. It's guaranteed. And -- I don't know how to explain it to you -- whether it's my crazy fantasy or someone else's, but I love Sunday again. And I'm thinking,
We all fall into our problems again and again and do not notice anything around us. At the same time, we want to cope with these problems and be happy. But maybe you need to get away from them, rather than get stuck. What you have lost will probably never be returned. One has only to look around and see that, in addition to the lost, there are other beautiful things in the world.
The movie is amazing. Very alive and real. I got into it. It was like living with heroes.
And the cast... He's great. Not for nothing, this tape is the first since 1981 was nominated for the Oscar in all acting categories. Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, Jackie Weaver. Just no words. I believed their game.
I put this film on my favorite list. And my assessment is definitely
He believed in happy ending. And it happened to him. More precisely, with them.
A wonderful picture, which received so many nominations and, of course, Oscar for the main female role.
They found a cure in each other. These two are entangled in themselves, their lives, ideals, mores, rules and laws. He caught his wife with another, she ridiculously lost her husband. They were going crazy, getting treated, swallowing pills and going to make a plan. The plan is what to do next with their young, but already so badly battered lives.
This movie is about people. Ordinary people like any of us. It's just that they're a little less fortunate. They did not expect it, they did not deserve it.
I highly recommend this picture to anyone who believes in a ray of hope and healing with love. True and powerful love.
Believe in signs, because accidents are not accidental and happy endings happen.
This film is not about madness, this film is about sincerity.
A few thoughts on this film:
1) Madness, yes, everyone is crazy in this movie. Everyone has an abnormality. And every lunatic, in every lunatic's universe, has a coordinate system that makes this psychopath absolutely normal. All jealous of where to count. If you consider the fact that the wife cheated on her husband to their wedding song, it becomes absolutely normal why this song brings so much suffering to her husband. Pat’s father is obsessed with gambling and betting on games. Isn’t it crazy to bet all the money on one game, on a game with giants?? And his mother? Isn't it crazy to encourage a husband (Pat's father) to lead such a lifestyle? She says that play is his whole life, thereby understanding him and making his illness normal (because obsession with play is as much an addiction as alcoholism). From the point of view of a pragmatist who builds a career and builds life step by step - is it not madness to encourage, does not resist such hobbies of the husband??
And his friend Roni, who's married to Victoria? He is a madman, is not the madness of the life he leads? He completely sold, subjugated, destroyed his life. His life is the happiness of his wife, fulfilling all her whims. He has a great job, earns even in crisis, is financially able to fulfill his wife's whims (fireplace and iPod slots in every room), but that's not what he wants. And isn’t it insane to spend his life—his only life—doing things that only make him want to suffocate himself? And to me, the most normal of all the characters in this film are those who are not afraid to live like everyone else, doing what they want. And let the tragedy push them to this, even if they can not find a place for themselves (hardly find) in the society of “normal” people, they are happy, although others do not let them understand this. And I would give a lot to be in Pat's shoes. In order to be free, you have to lose everything. To become truly free, do not fear to lose everything.
Pat says he was found to be insane for just one incident. Pat beat his wife’s lover half to death (it’s not a spoil – it turns out at the beginning of the film). Pat's father is officially a normal man, but he committed almost the same misdemeanor - a fight in the stadium with fans, beating several people. And Pat is a crazy psycho, he was recognized as such by “competent specialists”, and his father is normal. Why? Why are some people crazy and others just like them not crazy? Because some managed to hide their psychosis from society, while others did not. Because others didn't want to hide it.
(2) Jennifer Lawrence is brilliant. Her play is admirable, her body moves so seductively inducing desire! She's a whore, but that doesn't repel. Why? Because she gave her body, but she didn't give her soul. She kept it for her "crazy" who would love her and who would love her. She dances like a goddess, making her forget everything except the beckoning curves of her body. Her acting is admirable: the viewer realizes that there is much more action going on inside her than her lips express than she says in words (watch the scene when Pat first sees her off and she slaps him).
Why do you want to meet a girl like Tiffany? Because she’s crazy, so you don’t have to be “normal” by hiding the real you. Tiffany's crazy, which means she's free, she's real. And you don't have to pretend either.
(3) Psychos are much more normal than “normal” people. Psychos aren't afraid to talk about their feelings (like Pat when he tells Tiffany about wanting to watch a game with his father rather than dance with her). But the "normal" are afraid (like Pat's friend Roni, who is afraid to admit to his wife that he does not like his job and her whims). Yes, "psychos" quarrel, but "normal" do not? Everything is like in family life – you need to speak directly about your plans and desires, even if you think that it will offend your partner, but to tell him a lie or worse – not even raise a conversation about what you want and what you feel, and then blame your partner (and this will come, it will not go anywhere – it is human nature to try to find the guilty).
(4) We’re all crazy when we’re passionate. Passion for a woman, in a man, for a game, for anything.
(5) Despite so many mistakes and so many bitter experiences, it’s important not to close your heart and believe that love will find you. That's a good thing. After all, there is nothing worse than the fear of life.
What is madness? It's just an aberration. What's the norm? That's what people ask. Most people. Most, but not all. If two madnesses find each other, they are the norm. They're happy. Find your lunatic. Be happy.
Quotes:
"Doc, what are you doing here?"
We have to beat the giants, man!
- I'm not supposed to meet you outside the office, is that legal?
Pat, today I'm your team brother, not a therapist, I'm very happy to see you.
" - You don't have to ruin your marriage. There is love between you. I know I saw it. You have a great relationship that needs fixing... You have to fix it. Enough insincerity, I want to come to your house and talk openly about everything.” Is that what you call a psycho? Yes! These words are pronounced by someone whom medicine and the "Normals" have recognized as "psychic." But are they that crazy?
“Life will still break your heart. This is guaranteed.” So why are they afraid?
I didn’t expect to see so much beautiful music in the passing picture.
I haven't been in a movie like this in a long time. But, most amazingly, after watching the movie, I no longer consider it a passing film. I am sure that there will be many people who will want to review and find new facets of personal selfishness of each individual character. Watch how the heroes manage to get out of the cage of their fears and desires, directing at least part of their attention to those who are nearby.
Relationships are on the verge of madness. Music, light, emotion.
Sometimes metaphorical, sometimes very deep, sometimes sad, but certainly interesting.
I highly recommend to everyone and everyone who is over 21 and at the same time he did not feel really happy.
Great movie!
At the beginning of this movie, I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, that dude is really crazy!’ and then there was a second nutcase. But then... It became obvious that all their family, all their friends, all the people around them... they’re all crazy! No, seriously, there's not a single normal person in this movie. And most of all, it manifests itself in some manic selfishness. Every character in the movie has an obsession and that’s all he’s interested in. He can't see anything but that. Just yourself and your thoughts.
Towards the end of the film, I came to an even more terrifying conclusion - it all looks so much like me. I think if you looked at the situation directly and frankly, many people would recognize themselves in this behavior. How often do we do things for our own interests? How often are we so obsessed with our ideas that we don’t want to see other people around us? Their opinions and interests seem to us absolute nonsense. All our thoughts are focused on ourselves.
Fortunately, it's not 24 hours a day, it's just some of the moments we do that. I don’t want to speak for others, but I can say for myself with full confidence that this manic egoist wakes up in me very often, who wants his whole life to be the way he wants. He wants everyone to do what he likes.
The film also very well shows the line when a person becomes "normal," really a Human. This is only possible when he stops acting for himself and starts acting for another. He accepts everything as it is and sincerely forgets about himself. Then the world again turns to its bright side.
Thank you to the author of the film for the touching plot and the meaning invested in the film.
Seeing the cast and director, reviews of people, in my heart still appeared the very ray of hope that this evening I will finally watch a worthwhile film.
But alas, after watching the film, I am forced to join those few negative reviews.
I didn’t see anything in the movie. It's not such a big topic about nuts and nuts to make a movie on it. The film is mediocre... I would even say another movie with kisses and a happy ending.
Throughout the film struggled with the feeling that the actors are not in their places, take even the same Jennifer Lawrence who well does not fit into the role of abnormal.
And in general, I do not understand our time, when every hero and girl of easy behavior make heroes and make films about them.
Every movie should leave something to teach.
The only thing that this film taught me is that it attracts you to something like this. So let’s not waste our precious time watching movies about psychopaths, but develop ourselves and strive for completely different heights.
If there are good films about love in the world that do not suffer from excessive vulgar sweetness and tired templates, then “Bayers of Hope” definitely are among them. The director of the film (David O. Russell, author of the acclaimed “The Fighter” a few years ago) was able to mix in the right proportions drama, comedy and, of course, romance – so much so that in the end there is very little desire to criticize and look for any shortcomings. Really, why, if you after watching rather smile at the screen without any rear thoughts?
Despite the lame localization of the name, there are not one psychos in the movie, but at least two. The character of Bradley Cooper caught his wife in the shower in the arms of another man, and slightly moved mentally on this case. Jennifer Lawrence can not recover from the death of her husband, which results in uncontrolled bouts of promiscuity. In general, the fact that the two are quite worthy of each other in terms of the degree of slight schizophrenia is beyond doubt; as well as the fact that the film looks extremely pleasant primarily thanks to the cute acting duo Cooper with shiny eyes and plump Lawrence.
In short, without unnecessary verbiage: my recommendation is to watch!

We all experience betrayal, separation, pain in different ways. Someone steadfastly endures all these hardships, and someone's psyche can not withstand and even the intervention of doctors can come.
Pat comes home early and (as in a classic joke) finds his wife in the shower with another man. Here he has a nervous breakdown, he beats his wife’s lover half to death and, by a court decision, finds himself in a clinic for the mentally ill.
The main “adventures” begin when, after 8 months, the mother, under her responsibility, takes Pat home.
Bradley Cooper successfully coped with this dramatic role (before that I had to watch him only in comedies). The image of the hero confused in his emotions is fully revealed
Robert De Niro is a talent. You can look at it endlessly and enjoy the great game. Always give 100% in the main, at least in a secondary role. Most of the comic situations are related to his hero. Desperately cheered for him at the Oscars-2013, a pity - the statuette went to Christoph Waltz.
Although the film is a drama, it is full of humor. Humor kind, noble, which is so lacking in modern comedies.
The film turned out to be very high-quality, interesting. Recommended for anyone who loves De Niro and Cooper. Anyone who misses good humor.
This is the film that opens the second wind when watching. When the action is slow, you expect something unusual to happen, but it doesn’t. You forget to wait and just watch a weird movie, and at that point you like it. By the end of the show, there is a strong desire to do something good.
A large number of questions are raised in the film due to the difference between the normal daily life of a resident of the United States, and for example, Russia. Laws, relationships, family life, etc. This is the foundation that from the very beginning brings the story to the viewer’s judgment, and which makes you think about very clear things from the other side. While watching, the director develops the story so that all the characters seem to be residents of the next street. There is still a difference in perception. This is very important, because perception ceases to perceive the obvious in our everyday life. So the same thing, but spoken in other words may sound deeper.
In the story there is the main character, his family and a dream to quickly return everything as it is. He struggles not only with his illness, but also with the surrounding reality. The director did not make the drama in its pure form. Therefore, giving the main character a certain disease, he allowed himself to play with reality. A little beyond the accepted norms of perception in this society. Bradley Cooper’s amazing acting allowed him to completely immerse himself in Pat’s character. Jennifer Lawrence is a little less interesting, but Robert De Niro in his special manic manner was pleasant and restrained.
The plot develops in a fairly straight line. There are twists and surprises, but all within the script. Cinematography initially brings chaos to the process, but perhaps this is the intention of the director - as the main character develops, general and close-up plans also begin to be smooth and restrained. It was only after watching that I was surprised that the film was directed by David O. Russell. He had a more dramatic story in The Fighter than he did in this movie, but in The Fighter, many of the problems came from society. The emphasis here is on the inner world. Therefore, it is nice that for various reasons, the director managed to make the maximum in each film, to which there are no questions. The finale leaves behind a certain charge that creates tone in real life.

To begin with, this film before watching it was for me ordinary ... no, even the simplest film just to kill time.
This is the conclusion I made after watching the trailer. But when I started watching this film, I realized that it was not a film, but a painting that could be attributed to masterpieces. . .
It's a masterpiece! I mostly love fantasy and comedies, but this movie shocked me. I have registered on the website to say this!! Believe me, this is a great torment.
In my opinion, this picture shows exactly the chaos that occurs in every family, and healthy! But the acting is amazing! All the text and emotions are shown in such a way that you just forget that you are watching a movie, you begin to worry. Nothing superfluous in the whole text... or it’s because it was presented so much that I didn’t notice! The only thing I'd like to see at the end of the film is him telling the truth that he's realized to his ex-wife. For the performance of actors 10 points!
Although the script of the film was predictable and ordinary, it was still able to surprise in its highlights and not in the singular! For the script 8 points!
I’m going to repeat the awesome movie again! I recommend it to people who like to look for something new!
“I fell in love with you at first sight. I'm sorry I took so long to realize.
The title was set up for a romantic comedy, but the film is not as cloudless as it seems at first glance. It is much more serious, but at the same time there were plenty of reasons to laugh.
The beginning was laid very hard: the guy is discharged from the psychiatric hospital, where he got because of the betrayal of his wife, whom he loved to death, and now loves, which is the hardest thing. He longs to meet her in order to confess his warmest feelings, but he is punished for beating his lover, which does not allow him to approach her. The narrative is boring, boring: the main character does not cause anything but compassion – it hurts to look at him: at his helplessness, at his faith in a good future, which is certainly not destined to be, at his search for “rays of hope in all the negativity surrounding him”, and just amazes his desire for this very future, where he is again with his beloved wife. The most frowny would have turned off this film, but I do not recommend it.
After all, a non-standard girl appears further in his life: she is also a little “that”, only purely formally, with which she was attached to this label of a psychopath to a greater extent by others. She lost her husband, which caused her to suffer a major depression. But here they are: two people, not that with similar fates, but having similar problems. Their meeting is far from accidental, and it changes them both. She is his ray of hope, and a huge opening after an inconspicuous beginning for the film. Since the appearance of Jennifer on the screen, the film has never seemed boring: the dialogues themselves are sensible, chicly written, and even just perfectly diluted with excellent humor; the characters, their actions on the screen, their actions and communication - something high, inaccessible - this can only be in the cinema. The ease of communication, however, sometimes cruel, then sincere remorse - all this strikes in the relationship between the two main characters. The ending is very touching and kind. What an amazing sight!
The cast worked above all praise. Jennifer is a new star, no longer a star, but a huge screen star. Emotion is brilliantly conveyed, and from joy to great resentment. This film is a huge test for the actors “for strength”: you need to show absolutely all the feelings. Lawrence passed her 100! Bradley Cooper met me in this role for the first time, and to be honest, I am pleasantly surprised. His hero turned out to be very emotional, kind and sincere. Well done! Against the background of this couple did not go into the shadows and Robert De Niro, Jackie Weaver, Chris Tucker.
If you want to watch something high, touching, kind, not without emotions and sensual cinema, then do not pass by! I’d be proud to put this film in line with last year’s French 1+1 bomb, only this movie is more loving.
A very correct film, everything is clear, without unnecessary special effects, this is life, real, let us see a piece of only the best of their lives, but it says a lot. I was not disappointed at all by watching it. Thanks for the movie. I want more of these, the plot is simple without the troubles of any random connections, sex and everything else from which is just sick.
The main characters showed their emotions to each other, and of course to us. The main character Jennifer Lawrence played amazingly. Bradley Cooper slowly began to enter the role.
Pat (Cooper) is a guy who spent 8 months in a mental institution. He was in a mental institution because he found out his wife was cheating on him. Even after returning, Pat continues to look for his wife and seal his marriage. But there is a problem, he has a restraining order.
Tiffany (Lawrence) is a girl whose husband has died, and is also "sick" like Pat himself. Their meeting was a fate for both of them. I will not reveal anything, look for yourself.
The movie makes good sense. That they were cured not by disease, but by love and friendship.
Very good movie. Heroes were amazing (you could give 4 people an Oscar here). The music was perfect, most of all the classics. The plot is wonderful.
