In 1954, Andrei Tarkovsky became a student of VGIK at the Faculty of Directing. Great academic success, diligence and indisputable talent of the student immediately distinguished him from the general background of students.
Even in the process of training, A.Tarkovsky begins to create first short films, and subsequently full-length films.
