James Frane is from Leeds, his father was a broker and his mother was a teacher. James is the oldest of eight children. The boy managed to get an education at Newport High School, later he began to study at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, after which he decided to move to London, where he began to study acting at the Central School of Dramatic Arts and Stage Speech.
As a final year student, Frane got a role in the film “Land of Shadows” directed by Richard Attenborough, which for him was his debut on the big screen. Subsequently, the actor starred in numerous roles in film and television, the most successful of which was his work in the film.
