Plot
In a certain town comes a strange gentleman, interested in the list of dead serfs. The place of visit Chichikov (Vladimir Belokurov) chose not by chance: the financial swindler travels around the areas affected by crop failures and accidents. Business in the Old Way
Chichikov’s plan for obtaining Navar should be kept secret, but this does not always happen in the process of “negotiations with partners.” At the other end of the deal are local officials. They must agree to supply Chichikov with dead souls. The art of persuasion is not necessary in this case: as usual, Russian officials know their interest and demonstrate comprehension and loyalty in such transactions. All that is required of a grief entrepreneur is to find a way out. That is, to find out from the citizens who runs everything here.
One of these informants is Nozdrev, with whom Chichikov “pierced”. A sociable reveler turns out to be an incorrigible gossip. He quickly spreads the rumor about the dark intentions of a visiting swindler, not forgetting to add to the list of his “merits” an attempt to kidnap the daughter of the governor himself.
Going on the run business people are not used to. Chichikov’s risky enterprise is under threat of exposure, and he hastily leaves the county town. With merchants on dead showers, who will bring him a good bargain. close

Seeing Death standing at the headboard, he opened the bed, and with the offended Reaper went to the basement to the brewer to discuss the situation over a mug of foam drink. Back Darzhbuyan returned alone, and drunk Death was left sitting in a boarded up barrel. That's just fellow villagers of coal-burn for some reason were not happy about what happened - after all, now not only people, but even chickens, pigs and cows have stopped dying. It turned out that even a simple dinner without Death can not be cooked. close
