During the opening credits of the series “Friends” the song by the band The Rembrandts “I’ll be there for you” sounds. In 1994, a low-budget video was released on this composition, in which all the actors of the series plus the band members took part. The action takes place in the TV studio - "Friends" have fun, jump, run, crook, quarrel, flirt, dance, and "Rembrandts" unfazed perform the song. The ending is quite symbolic. Actors from Friends by cunning and force expel the pop band from the studio, take possession of them musical instruments and under the phonogram finish the song to the victorious end. In a similar scheme, they invaded our life with you. It seems clumsy, behave like children, but very quickly and quite imperceptibly this knave bag took our homes a very important place. close

The film presents thirteen rhythms of flamenco, each with song, guitar, and dance: the up-tempo bularías, a brooding farruca, an anguished martinete, and a satiric fandango de huelva. There are tangos, a taranta, alegrías, siguiriyas, soleás, a guajira of patrician women, a petenera about a sentence to death, villancicos, and a final rumba. close

Sadie looks up to her older sister Georgia, a successful folk singer who's happily married with children, but can't break out of the bar-band circuit and hit the big time she desperately covets. It's in part due to her attraction to drugs and booze, and also to her own unwise choice in men. Finally, though, Sadie's Achilles heel is a rough, unlovely voice very different than her sister's crowd-pleasing singing. close

It's probably a specific movie. It appeals more to Queen fans, but it can also be recommended to a “broad audience.” Memorable interviews with the world’s most famous rock stars, touching Queen music and documentary narration.
The musical design once again proves that Queen creates masterpieces, and it is impossible to believe that all that you will hear as an accompaniment to the film was written by one group, which even the authors of the Encyclopedia for Children put in the section “Pock music” separately. close

Riverdance--The Show is a cultural phenomenon that defies criticism for the enthusiastic and leaves everyone else scratching their heads. The wonderfully talented cast, headed by the Riverdance Irish Dance Company, bewitchingly spins (and stomps) its Celtic folk choreography featuring numerous breathless solos by Michael Flatley (since departed) and Jean Butler. The mellifluous Riverdance Orchestra boasts Davy Spillane, who coaxes plaintive lamentations out of a peculiar instrument that resembles a bagpipe in a metal leg brace. For Enya fans, there is the sound-alike choral group Anuna, who casts a similarly New Age-style vocal spell. Also thrown into the mix are such disparate folk traditions as American gospel and Spanish flamenco. Though it's only 70 minutes long, Riverdance is repetitive by half. But judging from the ecstatic audience ovations and the continued foot-stomping during and after the curtain calls, too much is still not enough. --Richard Natale close
