Glenn Headley was born in New London, graduated from the High School of Dramatic Arts in New York and entered the studio of Herman Berghof. Then she went to Switzerland to continue her studies and as a result ended up in the troupe of the Steppe Wolf Theater in Chicago, along with actors John Malkovich Gary Sinise and Lori Metcalfe.
