The youngest of the four sons of actor John Carradine, Robert, could not resist following in the footsteps of his older brothers, David, Keith and Bruce. He first appeared on screen in 1972 in the movie Cowboys, after which a series of teenage roles began, until finally his features took shape in something more masculine. Together with his brothers, he played in the film Long Saddle (The Long Riders), in which a fairly large number of relatives played: brothers Stacey and Jesse Keechi, brothers Randy and Dennis Quaid.
