Jones continued to work on television shows, but real success came to him when he joined the comedy troupe “Flying Circus Monty Python”, which was attended by actors Eric Idle, Michael Palin, John Cleese, Graham Chapman and animator, screenwriter, actor and director Terry Gilliam. As an actor, Jones took part in all television issues and films Monty Python, and directed the most famous paintings of the troupe: Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975, together with Terry Gilliam), The Life of Brian (1979), The Meaning of Life by Monty Python (1983), Eric Viking (1989). In 1996, Jones filmed “The Wind in the Willows” – a classic fairy tale for the children of writer Kenneth Graham, in which he played a major role. Currently, he continues to work as a television script writer, film actor and director.
