In addition, during his studies at school, Patrick also managed to engage in theater, gymnastics, figure skating, swimming, martial arts, and in high school - also American football, which eventually put an end to his dance career: a severe knee injury killed his dream of dancing on the ballet stage. However, after graduating from college at the age of 20, Patrick enters the New York ballet school Rebecca Harkness, which brilliantly graduates.
Having completed a ballet career due to injury, Patrick begins to go to castings and gets small roles in films such as “Rogues”, “Red Dawn”, “North and South”.
But it took him several years to get his "star role" - the role of dancer Johnny in the musical melodrama of 1987.
