She was born on May 30, 1926 in Moscow. Her parents were from a village near Kolomna, they came to Moscow early to work. Mother got a job at the age of 14 in a weaving factory, father traded in a private store. His father died in August 45 of tuberculosis.
Nina was artistic and had a beautiful voice. At the age of 15, at the height of the war, she entered the Russian folk choir named after Yarkov and traveled the whole country with him. She performed in the Far East, Asia, Crimea and even on the Karelian front.
In the postwar years, young people swirled the whirlwind of cinema. Many ran on "Mosfilm" and "to shoot extras". Nina was also fascinated by film work, but she did not take her passion seriously. Until once on the set of the film "Man No. 217" assistant director Viktorov advised the girl to think about the acting future. She decided to go to VGIK.
The course was unique, acting and directing (the workshop of S. Yutkevich and M. Romm). Yutkevich focused, of course, on directing, the basics of which comprehended Basov, Chukhrai, Chkheidze, Abuladze, Melnikov. The actors hardly noticed, and then began to slowly sift out. Every year. Even Tengiz Abuladze was kicked out. But Nina in 1951 VGIK still finished, despite all the difficulties.
After graduation VGIK entered the theater-studio of the actor
(1951-1990).
Some time after leaving the Theatre-Studio, the actor entered the troupe under the sonorous name "Wanding Stars", under the leadership of actor and director Pavel Tikhomirov. The troupe, indeed, wandering - performances went on in various Houses of creativity. Nina Fedorovna again began to sing and with pleasure to remember how Boris Andreev on the day when Agapova was received in the Theatre-Studio of the film actor, loudly declared: “Congratulations to the team on a wonderful vocal acquisition!”, and then repeatedly beat her in the ear: “Agapova, you need an operetta!”
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1987).
