Actress and director Daria Mikhailova was born on February 22, 1965 in Moscow. Both her parents were directly related to the world of theater and cinema, and therefore it is logical that Daria followed in their footsteps.
However, she did all her professional steps on her own, without parental support. Her first role was the role of Tanya – the main character of the painting by Gennady Shumsky “Blue Portrait”. Assistant directors saw a talented girl in the school, where the selection of candidates, and Dasha brilliantly defeated the other candidates. Of course, with such a “baggage” Mikhailova was a direct road to the actresses. She decided the same, went to enter VGIK and ... failed miserably.
