Dante’s acting career began with filming in television series, his first work was a small role in the series Santa Barbara. The tape was so popular that the young actor was quickly noticed and began to be invited to star in other films.
In 1991, Terry Brooks began work on the continuation of the novel by J. Barry “Peter Pan” – a film.

Dante Basco was cast as Rufio, King of the Lost Boys. The actor brilliantly got used to the role of his character, who stood out for his charisma, and thanks to the release of this famous film, he became popular. On the same set with Dante worked such famous actors as Dustin Hoffman and Robin Williams.
A little later, a punk band was organized, which was named after the character of Dante Basco – Rufio. The actor is constantly starring in films and on his account for more than 60 TV series and films, in many films he acts as a dancer in the style of break dancing or hip-hop.
In 2005, the animated series Avatar: Legend of Aang was released, where Dante voiced Prince Zuko. In 2006, the actor was invited to the filming of the film “Keep the rhythm”, where he played the role of a dance teacher. The main role in the film was played by Antonio Banderas. Dante Basco also worked on the films Blood and Bone, Bikers, Firebreathing, Fist of the North Star, The Perfect Weapon and other popular films.
