Among those with whom the producer collaborated are Alain Carnot, Claude Miller, Alain Cavalier, Marco Ferreri, Benou Jaco, Letizia Mason and many other well-known directors in France and abroad. He also wrote a number of scripts and shot several films, including The Death of Raymond Roussel (1975).
Maurice Bernard was a member of the jury of various major film festivals, was awarded the prestigious Beaumarchet Medal and was awarded the National Order of Merit.
