Chris Wedge was born in 1958 in the United States. In 1981 he graduated from the film department of the University of New York. He received a master’s degree in computer graphics and art teaching from the Center for Computer Art and Design (ACCAD) at Ohio State University. As a computer effects specialist, Chris Wedge was involved in the film Tron (1982). In 1998, Chris Wedge made his debut as a director, directing the short animated film Bunny, which received a number of prizes, including an Oscar. In 2002, he was staged a full-length cartoon "Ice Age".
