British actress Rachel Roberts was born in Lanelli on September 20, 1927. After graduation, she studied at the University of Wales, and then at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Rachel's film debut took place in 1953 in the series Hall of Fame. She starred in the films Our Man in Havana, ITV Game of the Week, Good Companions, the film Saturday Night, Sunday Morning, after which she received her first BAFTA award.
