Actress of theater and cinema Kyunna Ignatova was born on September 26, 1935 in Moscow, in the family of a ballerina and academician. In 1953, Kuenna entered the Shchukin Theatre School for Cecilia Mansurova’s course, and graduated from Joseph Rapoport.
The film debut took place in his student years. Kyunna Ignatova got the main role in the musical comedy directed by Boris Barnett
Lyana . A year after the release of the picture, Kuenne was again offered one of the central roles in the film The Long Way. The student with both roles coped brilliantly, and, as a result, finished her studies as a famous actress.
After school, Ignatova was very quickly accepted into the Moscow Drama and Comedy Theater, where she soon became a leading actress. Spectators of the theater Kyunna Nikolaevna remembered such roles as Fallows in “The Quiet American”, Oksana in “On the farm near Dikanka”, Lerochka in “Apartment Neighbors”.
Career Kyunna Ignatova in the Moscow theater of drama and comedy developed successfully and dynamically, but in 1961 under the influence of her future husband – the famous actor Vladimir Belokurova, she goes to the Moscow theater.
The actress was offered at first the role of his wife Kalitin in the “Noble Nest”, Katya in “The Point of Support”, Vari in “Armored Train 14-69” and some others. But soon the more or less central roles for Kyunna Ignatova ended, and a long period of continuous episodes began. For example, the actress played the role of a maid in the play “Three Sisters” for more than 25 years!
Even before moving to the Moscow Art Theatre, Kuhnna Nikolaevna played a role in the film in the drama of Sergey Sidelev “The Tale of the Newlyweds”. After the debut, several more roles took place: journalist Elena Sergeevna Ryabinina in the film “And Again Morning”, crew member of the Vega spacecraft Masha Ivanova in the fantastic film “Planet of Storms” and in several other films. Gradually, the proposals in the cinema, as well as in the theater, came to naught. Since the early 70s, the actress has not acted in films.
After the division of the Moscow Art Theatre in 1987, Ignatova remained in the troupe of Tatiana Doronina. Receiving a central role for the first time in many years (Frau Vermelskirch in “The Driver of Genschel”) promised a return to his career. However, the play was very soon erased from the repertoire, and Kyunna Ignatova remained again with some episodic roles.
