Born on February 22, 1964 in Irkutsk in a working family.
Up to 5 years she lived in a working village with her aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. From the age of 2, she sang the songs of Vysotsky, and in adolescence her poetic abilities began to manifest. She had always dreamed of playing the piano, but her family never had the chance.
After 8th grade, having arrived from Ust-Ilimsk, where she left for 3 years with her parents and younger brother Sasha, she entered the Irkutsk Aviation College, where she learned to play the guitar.
Accidentally getting to the performance of the Irkutsk Youth Theatre, she was fond of the theater, but she did not pass the competition to the local theater school.
A year later, in 1983, she entered the Moscow Theatre School named after B. V. Shchukin for the course of Evgeny Rubenovich Simonov.
After the 2nd year, he starts acting in films. Her first work was the role of Lena in the film V. Rybarev “Witness”, he also starred in the film “My name is Arlequino”. This film brought Svetlana international success.
On trips around the country, she often performed songs of her own composition.
In 1987 she graduated from Theatre School. Her diploma performance was the play “Love” based on the play by L. Petrushevskaya in the production of V. Etush.
In 1991 she married, and a year later gave birth to a son.
She did not work temporarily from 1992 to 1997. She studied at 2-year courses of the Moscow State Linguistic University.
In 1997 she returned to the cinema, starring with her son Dima in the film V. Abdrashitov "Time of the dancer".
After meeting the composer and poet V. Zuykov, who highly appreciated her poetry, she began to write pop songs, the first performer of which was Christina Orbakaite.
Collaborates with composers V. Zuykov, V. Malezhik, A. Ukupnik, I. Sarukhanov and others.
Currently, Svetlana is raising her son and is preparing a solo album.
