Patrick Wolf, real name Patrick Denis Eps, musician, performer, composer from the UK, was born in 1983 on June 30.
Patrick begins to make music while studying at school. At the age of 11, he acquired a simple synthesizer and began experimenting with different sounds. At the age of 14, he created the first musical instrument - the theremin, which is necessary for the young talent to create his own unusual compositions.
The following year, Wolfe began a collaboration with the ensemble "Minty". Patrick's performances are noticed by producers from Fat Cat Records, and offer the musician the necessary equipment for the work.
In 1999, Patrick Wolfe decides to leave home, and begins to earn a living, often performing on the street. At the same time, Wolfe created his own band, Maison Crimineaux, which performed quite aggressive music. Soon musicians are invited to a concert in Paris. This trip becomes a turning point in the life of Patrick Wolfe: at one of the Paris performances, the band members get acquainted with Maestro Capitol K, who later plays a rather important role in the fate of the musician: he helps in the preparation and release of Patrick’s debut album Lycanthropy in 2003. The album determines the fate of Wolfe: after the release of Lycanthropy, the musician enters the college at the Conservatory in London. Two years later, Wolfe’s next album “Wind in the Wires” was released, which made him quite famous in the musical environment. In support of the compilation, Patrick goes on tour in Europe.
The work of Patrick Wolfe attracts the attention of the Bloc Party, and the participants invite the young musician to tour together in 2005. And as a wonderful conclusion to the creative year, Patrick Wolfe signs a big contract with a serious company and holds a solo sold-out concert in London.
In 2006, Wolfe worked on another collection of compositions Magic Position, which was released in 2007. On the first day of summer 2009, the collection “The Bachelor” is released, exactly a year later the album “The Conqueror” appears.
