Jake spent his childhood in Malibu, where musicians and actors meet far more often than the American average. Jake Busey never took the acting profession seriously and made no plans, even though he was constantly in this environment since childhood. And, even deciding to try his hand at cinema, Jake two years in a row could not pass the audition due to the fact that he was dominated by the star shadow of his father, who was not distinguished by exemplary behavior in work and very often went into deep drinking.
When Jake was seven years old, he made his first film debut: he starred in the film Correctional Term, where he played the role of his father in his youth. The second work in the movie Jake Busey was the voice of Gary Busey (his father) in his younger years, in the film “Hider in the house”, which was released in 1989.
Jake got a few small roles on television and was seen by Hollywood directors as an up-and-coming actor.
