Dr. Gregory House, a drug-addicted, unconventional, misanthropic medical genius, leads a team of diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton–Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey.
Cool show. A great protagonist, wonderful, revealed and human characters are secondary, interesting stories in each series. I was just watching and watching : All of the above, until season 3. From the 4th season, the House team changes and half of the charm of the series disappears

For a long time, I was going to watch the well-known and very popular TV series House / House, M.D., 2004-2012. I think a lot of people have seen it, so they know what the main character is, Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), a highly successful diagnostician working at the fictional Princeton Plainsboro Hospital in New Jersey. He has a small team that, by putting forward their ideas about possible patient diagnoses, allows House to form his ideas, which ultimately turn out to be the correct diagnoses, although not 100% of the time, he also sometimes makes mistakes. Being a capable doctor, a person is, to put it mildly, contradictory, often manifesting himself as a scumbag, selfish bastard, manipulator and boor in relation to literally everyone. Despite this, his team recognizes his merits, it often looks like a kind of addiction, which he shamelessly uses. His personal life also does not add up, and when almost the only time there is such a situation that could develop, he destroys it himself, and in the most rude way. Another important circumstance, which partly explains his behavior, is that because of his trauma, he experiences constant pain, sits on drugs, which he takes quite openly, without being ashamed of the presence of colleagues or even the presence of patients, which in reality, of course, simply could not happen. He has only one friend - the head of the cancer department of the same hospital, Dr. Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard), who at times tries (quite unsuccessfully, unfortunately, although sometimes it seems that House listens) to reason with him, but by the gentleness of his character forgives him for his flaks. House will make an attempt to get off drugs, quite short-lived, however, and his outbursts will bring him to prison, and his constant "pranks" sometimes look quite adolescent in level. What can I say about my own impressions? The series, in truth, is not bad, although the main character does not cause me the slightest sympathy, I do not tolerate people of such a warehouse, but other characters are interesting and interesting as an image. The situations shown in the film, I did not perceive as absolutely realistic, they were illustrations of images, because against the background of all medical cases there were constant conversations of the characters of the series on topics related to their personal lives and relationships, both among themselves and with House and other people. The series and the characters were constantly compared to Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. However, I watched it to the end, although the last two episodes are already with some difficulty, they tried their best to come up with a situation to somehow finish the series and then a little carried away, well, it’s the master’s business.
High quality product, potentially a ceiling for setting. Many virtues, at the head of which is Humor. Sometimes angry and cynical, but sharp and caustic. It gives you a reason to think, it gives you an immersion, it is fascinating. I definitely recommend it, the chance to have a good time will be very high.
A chic and ambiguous film. I read it a second time and enjoy it no less. Subtle humor, beautiful and talented actors, various, sometimes funny, sometimes with tears, medical cases. And a brilliant doctor, who at first glance seems rude, selfish, cynical, but how many times these traits of his character saved lives and can not count.

I highly recommend in difficult periods of life, distracts, helps, teaches to solve problems from different sides, sometimes not trivial.
