He is best known for his roles on television, including the role of Dr. Jack Morrison in St. Elsewhere (1982–88). He also starred in the television films "The Brotherhood of the Rose", "Langoliers", "When dreams come true" and many others. However, in the 1990s, David Morse worked more in cinema, where he debuted in the 1980 Richard Donner drama Inside Moves. He then starred in George B. and Sean Penn's dramas Indian Runner and Crossroads Station. Among the films with the actor can be called the thriller F.
