Fame to actress Michelle Williams (Michelle Williams) came after the release of the TV series “Summer of our hopes”. The future movie star was born on September 9, 1980 in Calispell (Montana, USA). Her mother was a housewife, and her father, Larry Williams, became a famous trader.
When Michelle was nine years old, she became interested in acting. At that time, the family moved to San Diego. Six years later, the wayward girl dropped out of school to shoot in the series “Summer of Our Hopes”, and did not lose (even before that, Williams played small roles in the films “Lessie” and “Minors”).
Initially, Michelle Williams was involved exclusively in youth comedies, but over time she, as an actress, was offered a different role: the girl began to be invited to “adult” projects (“Station Caretaker”, “Land of Abundance”). One of the prominent roles of Michelle is the heroine of the film Wendy and Lucy: for this role, Williams was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award. The role of the actress in the
Brokeback Mountain Michelle Williams was nominated for Oscars and Golden Globes, she reached a high bar.
During the filming of Brokeback Mountain, Michelle Williams did not neglect her personal life: the actress dated Heath Ledger. In 2005, the couple had a daughter Matilda, and two years later, Williams and Ledger broke up - apparently at the initiative of Michelle. For Heath, the breakup was painful: he suffered a deep depression and died of a drug overdose in January 2008. The death of the father of her child Michelle suffered hard: work on all her projects was suspended.
2010 was the time for the actress “Island of the Damned”: in this film, Michelle Williams played the wife of the character Leonardo DiCaprio. In 2011, Williams was again nominated for an Oscar: this time as the best actress in the movie "Blue Valentine". /
